Board-certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Miguel Delgado, offers Sculptra® Aesthetic among numerous other injectable treatments at his offices in San Francisco and Novato, Marin County. Sculptra® Aesthetic is a long-lasting dermal filler. It normally lasts for about two years compared to some of the other available alternatives on the market which only last for about a year at most.

BENEFITS OF SCULPTRA® AESTHETIC

With regards to treating facial cosmetic conditions, on average, a patient requires two to three Sculptra treatments in San Francisco with about a month of gap between each session. However, one aspect which acts in favor of Sculptra® Aesthetic is the amount of filler each injection contains. Each vial contains 5 cc of filler material which allows for treating larger areas. So, even though patients are commonly having two to three procedures, each treatment covers an expansive region of the face.

In long term treatment, Sculptra® Aesthetic boosts body’s natural collagen production. As a result, few months after the treatment, skin will start to appear much more refined and plump.

IDEAL CANDIDATES FOR SCULPTRA AESTHETIC

It is important to note that not everyone would necessarily benefit from Sculptra® Aesthetic. Our board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Delgado suggests that Sculptra® Aesthetic would be a good option for those who do not mind having multiple treatments and can wait up to six months for full results. If this is an issue, then he can happily recommend other alternatives.

Ideal candidates for Sculptra in Sonoma County are those who are looking to avoid a full facelift procedure because this treatment covers a relatively large area on the face. Moreover, anyone suffering from following facial conditions would also be able to benefit from Sculptra® Aesthetic:

  • Nasolabial folds
  • Hollow temples
  • Undefinedjaw line
  • Unfilled/weakchin

Although San Francisco is famous for its Golden Gate Bridge, Golden Gate Park is also a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike. The Conservatory of Flowers is one location within Golden Gate Park and is one of the first municipal conservatories built in the United States. It’s a Victorian greenhouse made entirely of a wooden skeleton and glass walls. Visitors can view potted plant, lowland, highland, and aquatic galleries with plants from all over the world. The Conservatory of Flowers is located three and a half miles from the practice of Dr. Miguel Delgado (and 26 miles from Dr. Delgado’s Novato offices in Marin County) within Golden Gate Park and near the California Academy of Sciences.
