CASE DESCRIPTION: San Francisco, California This is a 56-year-old, female resident of San Francisco who presented to my office in San Francisco at Union Square for evaluation for revisional breast surgery. She has had silicone breast implants since 1974 on top of the muscle. She developed capsular contractures over the ensuing years. She underwent a complete bilateral capsulectomy with replacement with 450 cc, silicone breast implants at the Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. Note the tense, round, upper fullness of the right breast and the gentler slope after the scar and breast contracture has been removed.
