Case #0500
San Luis Obispo, California The patient is a 26 year old male who presents for revision gynecomastia. He had his initial surgery in 2005 and is not quite happy with the outcome and presents for gland excision and liposuction. His overall goal is to obtain a flatter chest in the nipple-areola area. He is 5 feet 8 inches, 150 pounds. He had his gynecomastia surgery at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Novato, California. Most of the tissue internally was a small amount of breast gland and a fair amount of scar tissue. He had a small amount of fat removed from each side, being 100 cc. on the right and about 25 cc. on the left side. His course was complicated by a post operative hematoma that was seen in the recovery room. He had immediate evacuation of the hematoma. This was done under light local anesthesia. His post op photographs are taken approximately two months after surgery.
