CASE DESCRIPTION: This is a 48-year-old, female resident of Berkeley, California who presented to the San Francisco office at Union Square for evaluation for a facelift. She was very concerned about her facial profile and wanted a more attractive balance. She has a small chin. She underwent a brow lift and facelift, including a neck lift and a lower lid eyelid lift with a silicone chin implant. Her lower eyelid lift was performed through an external incision with lower lid tightening and muscle tightening of the lower lid. She had a SMASectomy, a technique that excises the deep layer to reduce the fullness of the face and to tighten the face, as well as elevation of the eyebrows 9 millimeters on the right side and 7 millimeters on her left side. Her procedure was performed at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. Note the natural and soft appearance to her face and improved facial profile.
