Case #0121
CASE DESCRIPTION: This is a 36-year-old, female resident of Palo Alto, California who presented to the San Francisco office at Union Square for evaluation for breast augmentation. She is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has two children. She had normal-saline breast implants placed thirteen years ago, which were 270 ccs. Her desire was to change them to silicone breast implants. Due to the capsular contraction, she underwent a capsulectomy with a sub-mammary incision and changed the implants from a sub-mammary position to a sub-muscular position. The normal-saline breast implants were replaced with 550 ccs Mentor silicone breast implants. The procedure was performed at Marin Cosmetic Surgery Center in Marin County, California. She went from a size B to a full C.
